I bought this along with the other two (Wheels on the bus and Pat-a-cake).
This is my favourite; the songs are fun and well presented. There are also 'jokes' and rhymes and speaking in between the songs linking the songs together in a zoo theme (not sure that comes across from the title). A few songs I hadn't heard, but mainly traditional songs I recognise from my childhood.
I play it with my son who is 8 months old and sing along, bounce around and do the actions etc and he really enjoys it. Good for days when you need a bit of extra inspiration. Obviously when he is older I could play it all the way through in the car, but at the moment I just flick between songs and miss out the speaking.
I think this is well priced and all in all a good buy. Would recommend from about 6 months, but think it's probably more suitable for older babies/ toddlers/ young children.

BBC hasn't let me down. This is a lovely CD for home or in the car. Is not annoying but I supposed it depends what you think annoying is. The style is quite lively and a bit like the style you hear on CBeebbies. I also have ring-o-roses nursery rhyme cd (not BBC) which is irish folk style and I think that is annoying.

Got this for my 2 year old and he totally loves it - some really fun songs on this and the Pelicans beak has him laughing for ages. For this price it's an absolute bargain. There is talking but it's with children laughing etc which he also loves, I would guess that it's aimed more for toddlers than babies. Definitely the best of the CD's we've bought so far.

Previously bought the Wheels On The Bus CD when my daughter was around 18mths old and it was an instant hit (and played to death) so decided we needed an alternative to prevent the constant repetition of one CD! Was unsure of Incy Wincy Spider when first played as there is alot more talking, stories, tongue twisters etc and didn't know if it would hold my daughter's attention (she is now 2yrs old). She loves it and after several plays it is a popular as the other CD.
The whole theme of the CD is about the visiting the zoo and the animals you can see although not sure this is made clear on the title / cover of the CD.

Absolutely essential for long car journeys, the BBC audio nursery rhyme CDs are in a class of their own. Incy Wincy Spider and other tales are sung and told in fine style. The only possible annoyance is the male presenter's voice, which sounds like someone singing through a toilet roll tube some of the time.
