| Customer Reviews: solved the problem August 3, 2009 Charlie Dallas 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The earphones that came with my ipod shuffle kept falling out each time i went to the gym for a run, and replacements fared no better. These are excellent and i would reccommend them to anyone wanting to do anything active while listening to music.
Good for running January 29, 2009 Mr. M. Doucas Good for running, really stable and remaining in its place, a little sore after long use if you have a big head (not big headed necessarily). Bonus is the fact that it can be turned on very loud for uses such as in a busy noisy gym.
Good headphones, but no volume control January 30, 2009 Elspeth Sissons (York, UK) These are a good pair of head phones, they fold up neatly and seem fairly sturdy. My only quibble with them is that they don't have a volume control, so I keep having to drag out my MP3 player to adjust the volume.
Not to my liking December 27, 2008 S. Simes 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
hurt the ears after about 10 mins. Sound quality ok, but nothing special. Much better options out there.
Not worth the price in any shape or form. October 8, 2007 Mr. N. Wilson (London, England) 6 out of 9 found this review helpful
I recently became interested in these after seeing them on another online shop and saw the "what hi fi" review where they received a 5 start review. Now I personally do not understand What Hi Fi were on when they reviewed these. I mean if they had previously been using the default earphones that came with many MP3 Players then I can see why they'd get a five star.
However, I have been using my Sony Sony MDR-EX71SLB Fontopia Headphones and they are actually very good. The sound is rich and full and detailed and they're quite comfortable however I kept on losing the ear buds so I thought I'd try something else. So going on the "Review" these seemed like the best solution. Boy was I wrong.
Basically as soon as there's any ambient or low points in the song such as intro's or pauses you can hear a distinct hissing sound, also they go to tremendously high levels of volume but they just sound louder rather than fuller or more enhanced. They're like you standard ipod headphones in my personal opinion and that ain't good! They are also *really* loud in terms of outside volume so anybody sitting next to you is gonna probably gonna end up quite angry with your music ;-). I'll be switching back to my Fontopia ones and just buy some additional buds and be more careful in terms of losing them...very disappointed with them.
