| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description The Porta Pro features dynamic elements that deliver exceptionally rich, deep bass and a remarkably wide frequency response from 15-25,000 Hz to capture every nuance in your favorite movie or musical performance. Constructed from mylar, the elements are extremely rigid, minimizing mechanical distortion and ensuring exceedingly accurate sound reproduction.
Neodymium iron boron rare earth magnet structures enable the Porta Pro to deliver greater volume so you can hear every note, even when competing against the sounds of a commuter train with a low-voltage MP3 or disc player. Oxygen free copper voice coils improve signal transmission and conduction for cleaner, clearer sound. Foam earcushions provide an open, hear-through sound that lets you keep in touch with your surroundings perfect to wear while running, at work, or while traveling.
Features:
Headphones with deep bass and response from 15-25,000. Mylar construction for accurate sound reproduction. Rolls up and clips into convenient wad for transport and storage. Neodymium magnets. Oxygen-free copper voice coils. Foam ear cushions.

| Customer Reviews: Wicked good sound February 11, 2010 Mr. A. M. Giordano 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Aside from these headphones having a clean appearance, due to the 25th anniversary face-lift, they are excellent headphones. Good for Nu-disco, Electronic, Downtempo, Trip-hop as they are heavy on bass. Good all round, and the cord looks great. Would definitely recommend!

get some now May 14, 2010 Mr. P. R. Campbell (Hereford, UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
1 word - AMAZING, can't believe people whinge about too much bass, have they never heard of graphic equalisers.
VERY VERY affordable and according to reviews compare well with £300 + Sennheisers.
Design unchanged for nearly 30 years as Koss reckon they can't improve on it. The anniverserays Edition I had to have, collectors box, retro cable, and a metal badge type thing. Got pairs of the standard ones for my offspring (same quality) and they love them too. More than loud enough, Stunning frequency responce and comfortable. YOU WILL GET SOME OF THESE !!!!
Impressive, but... July 9, 2010 Leon Tutski I was slightly worried when I opened the box they came in. They looked very delicate and slightly cheap looking. Once out the box either in use or not they look fine. Included with the headphones is a half decent pouch for the headphones and a gold plated jack extension, the headphones jack is also gold plated. You also get some kind of utterly pointless commemorative 'silver' coin. The packaging is rather nice and it comes in a kind of 'collectors' box but is utterly pointless and superficial and something you won't ever use or need.
Immediately the headphones sounded great, and after a minute feel very comfortable on. The only thing I would say is you always know they are there as opposed to some in-ear headphones which may be slightly less intrusive. The sound you get is a full sound with deep bass. Personally I would argue there is too much bass. I have only used them through Sony SRSZ50 pc speakers so far. I am pleased with the headphones but they are not worth thr extra £10 compared to the 'standard' Portapro headphones.
In conclusion, they have a good quality sound, fit well, look pretty good, are light, have a long wire, gold plated jacks and deep bass. To get the best out of them make sure your music is on the best possible format and recorded in qood quality. I have already noticed how the quality can drastically change from song to song through Windows Media Player. Finally, I would recommend to buy the cheaper Portapro headphones not these 'Anniversary Limited Edition', it's packaging and very slight aesthetic difference. Certainly not worth the £10 or so price difference! You've been warned kids! Spend the £10 on sweets instead.
