Customer Reviews: Sublime. February 20, 2010 Stixman (Wales, UK) What a great track! There's something to be said about samples and freebies over the internet, as personally I will be looking at buying more from this amazing artist. What a refreshing sound, from someone who is able to employ her giftings in providing a variation to the monotony of music that deluges us over the media. Well worth a listen!
Back on top form February 28, 2010 D. Stalder (uk) If this song is a taste of the other tracks on her album then Corinne Bailey Rae is back on top form.
Terrific track from Leeds superstar March 2, 2010 M. WATKINSON After the personal tragedy of her husband's accidental death, it's taken Corinne Bailey Rae a massive effort of will to start writing and performing again. Many would find that a task too far but this wonderful soul from the North of England has triumphed. Quirky, whimsical title aside ("It be's that way sometime" sounds like a throwaway piece of vernacular, bar-room wisdom from BBC Radio 4's The Archers) this is a very fine sample from her very good new album. It sounds dark and by gum, don't we know why - go you, Corinne. But who said pop had to be all froth and no thought? Don't just buy this, buy the rest.
freebie song February 22, 2010 the boss (Wirral UK) stronger material than some of the songs released on the album and it was a free song on amazon so whats the downside?
