I finally bought a DAB after my analog radio started to crackle almost continually. I wanted something portable that I could easily take from the bathroom to my bedroom. This product does that and works exceptionally well - crystal clear radio and no voice distortion (I listen to radio 4 most of the time.)
My tiny niggle is that the chargepak isn't included, and that the sound seems to go from too quiet to too loud in one step. It would have been better to have more increments in terms of increasing volume. I should add these are small niggles; I love this product!

This is an AMAZING little radio! it self tunes to the DAB stations when you turn it on, is crystal clear and very, very powerful for such a compact radio. Easy to use, easy to move from room to room and has the option to buy re-chargeable batteries if you want to use it outside - much more eco friendly and cost efficient than normal batteries. Greta for the office, kitchen and for taking on hols - thrilled with mine.

Christmas present for Dad. Had bad reception with DAB in the past but this sounded great. First present he hasn't taken back in years!

Bought for kitchen as no longer had space for a TV and it was too quiet. Wanted a small and easy to use radio and this is ideal. Simple to use and I take it all around the house. Don't see the need to buy the battery pack unless you plan to use it in the bathroom or outside so it's good that this is an optional extra. Can connect an MP3 player to it but need to buy cable separately - have not done this so don't know how good it sounds.

This is well worth the money as is the rechargeable pack. The sound is fantastic for such a small radio. Like it so much am about to buy a second one for the kitchen.....
