In the box:- Dock Unit, 2no speakers c/w cable and spikes, 6no adaptors for differing ipods, Power cable/lead.
Within minutes of opening box and unwrapping pieces, I was v impressed. All pieces well made and sturdy. Very easy to assemble and connect, and up and running within minutes.
Turned unit on, inserted Ipod and away I go. Sound is fantastic, easy to use and looks amazing.
Would recommend this unit to anybody looking for a system to use with there Ipod. I tried all others and this outshines all.

I bought the micropod so that I could move my Bose SoundDock into the kitchen. I wasn't impressed with it at first, it didn't sound as good as the Bose, but after a few hours the speakers loosened up and the sound was fast, accurate and clean. A nice touch is the line level subwoofer connector. I added a subwoofer and it now blows the Bose SoundDock away. Highly recommended, but it really does need a subwoofer to hit those lower notes and make the system shine. One final point, the supplied speaker cables are ridiculously short; chuck em and get some decent speaker cables.

After listening to most of the amplifier, speaker and dock stations for iPod's on the market I decided to plump for the Scandyna Micropod SE. This system represents good value for money with excellent detail in the sound. Although there isn't oodles of bass, the ability to separate the speakers enables a nice separation of sounds to be produced. Winner!

I choose the black, incredible! It looks so decent on my black piano, and since the new iMac now in black and silver, I put the dock beside my iMac and they both look so great together, but the bad thing is they don't have a line in or aux input.
I sit my white click wheel ipod it looks great with the contrast, but it is even better with the iPhone! It is just a stunning match, it looks better than another other iPod.
I was quite impressed by the amount of bass, and the mid-range was quite outstanding, relatively the treble was too weak, the system wasn't ideal for classical, orchestral music, especially women voice, but the system was great for pop music. Personally I think the system is good for a room with size no more than 200ft square.
